Letting Others Be;
There’s a rite of passage involved in letting others be. Completing this passage brings more grace into our lives, not because there’s more or less grace being extended at any time, but because when we release
the constriction of our requirements for others, we’re more open to receiving the grace that’s always being extended. Others are not here to make us happy. They are not here to be what we would have them be. And no matter how it may appear, they are not responsible for our feelings, regardless of how much we may demand or desire or expect of them. We always draw to ourselves what we are willing to receive, never less or more. Letting others be is a central part of living without resistance. Trying to change others is senseless struggle that ends in failure, disappointment, blame and a missed opportunity for conscious creating and loving. When we take responsibility for what we have attracted and held, and let ourselves be who we are, without making demands on others, we can embody our ideal easily and those around us change for the better too. Sounds a lot like unconditional love, that very thing we expect from our God, right?, then why do we have such a problem extending that very kind of love to others in our lives. It really all is God. I am constantly being reminded that there really is only one power and presence active in my life today, and that is God the source of unconditional love, and I grow to extend that to myself. May you all have a blessed day, one in which you allow everything and everyone to just be.

Dear Angels:

I am so confused and frustrated.  I have been on this path to awaken, or whatever you call it, for several years after finally opening up to the new age, new thought ideas. I have tried so many different things– ascension, new human, new thought, positive thinking, visualization, yoga– well, you name it, I think I have done it.  I feel okay, or better for a short time, then I still find myself looking for something else. Someone comes along and what they say sounds really good, sometimes even logical, and I get all excited and think this must be it.  Help! I am getting tired, seriously tired in my bones and body, and I am only getting moments of peace now.  Do you understand?

Dear Soul,

We are so excited that you are confused and frustrated.  That is what all those exercises were about, to get you to a point of . . well, no return! Hopefully you won’t run around and try any of those things again, and when you are too exhausted to DO ANYTHING, then maybe you will settle down and BE.

Let us tell you what we see when we look at all this going on. Remember when you were a baby, or you had a baby, it would cry and cry. You looked and checked, and everything seemed to be okay– it was fed, dry, comfortable– but still crying. What did you do??? You stuck a pacifier in its mouth. That’s right, all these things that you are pursuing are just SPIRITUAL PACIFIERS, for babies.  Now we see that they even make fake pacifiers for adults, made out of candy. Yummy.

Trying to ascend, be awake now, be in the now, are all your attempt to create some state of bliss, beatitude or ecstasy.  Really they have nothing to do with your natural state of BEING. All those things lie within your field of experience. They are states brought on by your own thought process. They come and they go.

All the forms of consciousness are all heading in the wrong direction, they are being experienced by you in a field of time. What we tell you about whom and what you really are is timeless, it can never be experienced, grasped, contained or given expression to by any man.  This will lead to nowhere. Which is good. Then you will see, all this led me nowhere. Now what do I do?

Well, start at the beginning. Inside. Understand that there really is no YOU to grasp or understand anything. The moment you say, “Oh, I understand,” then you see you have not. For there is no “you” to understand. There is infinite being, and it is experiencing itself as YOU.  You keep trying to experience yourself as It. Does not work. Too confining within the sphere of your brain, you see. Oh, just relax, it is closer than your next breath, and in between your heartbeats.

When you finally give up mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally–  all the things that you think you are– when you give that up, then there the truth will be.  And it will be so simple and easy, you will say, “well, it was there all along, and is this all this is????  How could I have missed this,” you will muse. Then you will continue to allow infinite being to experience itself as you.

We think that is enough confusion for today.

Dear EsaRa:

Back when “The Secret” first came out on DVD, people just went nuts over it– especially people into the New Age stuff. But it also received a lot of criticism, for teaching that the Universe (or God) is just like a giant vending machine where they can get stuff they want, like cars and money and jobs and relationships and personal success. I would really be interested to hear what EsaRa thinks about “The Secret.”

Dear Curious:

So, it’s a secret. Hmmmm . . here we go with an answer to this great secret, mystery, whatever you want to call it. The Secret. We are amused.

There is no “Secret” to this universe. We all watch you down there, running around– have you ever stopped to look at an ant hill? Well, sometimes we watch you, and think how much you resemble those little creatures. That above was a sidebar to the real answer. Here are some not-so-secret secrets about this earthly visitation you are making. So here we go:

1. SLOW DOWN. Where in the world on that tiny little planet are you all going to, anyway? There is no [such thing as] time. We promise you this, again we say THERE IS NO TIME. So, take some time.

2. EVERY PERSON YOU MEET is meant to meet you. They are you. They are the divine source, whatever name you want to call that, as you. So you meet you. Be nice to you. Smile at you. Take time to get to know your other names. Introduce yourself. Have no fear, you really are only meeting you. This goes to every person who crosses your path– the waiter who came to your table was divinely assigned to you. The guy who takes your groceries out to your car, is you, divinely assigned to meet you. How hard is it to shake their hand, and find out what their name is? DO THIS. It is a big secret to how to live your life, [by] meeting you.

3. TIP. Yes, there it is, a really big secret. Every you that you meet who is in the area of service to you, TIP. Even if you only have fifty cents in your pocket, give it to them. You want the floodgates of abundance to rain down on you? You want all that stuff you think you want? Then tip. Give it away.

4. SMILE. You have certainly heard that before. But for some reason, it seems to remain a part of THE SECRET. Just smile, for no reason. All the time. It’s like you have some secret of your own. And you do. You know that you are divine source living as you. And that is a great big reason to smile. Laugh, dance, enjoy life!

So there. You now have the big secret to having everything on this planet that you could possibly need, want or desire.

Dear EsaRa–

There are lots of books and web sites out right now about what is supposedly going to happen in 2012. Some of them claim the world is going to be destroyed, and others claim we’re undergoing a major transformation from an age of darkness to an age of Truth.

Either way, people seem to be obsessed with the idea that something earthshaking is going to happen in December of 2012, and it does seem like things are very chaotic and unstable in the world right now as we get closer to that date.

Can you give us some insight into the significance of 2012 for the human race?

Dear One–

Welcome, and glad are we to be in contact with you. Remember that we see things from a broader, grander perspective than you do, from a view that encompasses all that you truly are. In other words, what we call the absolute truth of your being. Yes we see the hoopla, is that a good word, surrounding a certain date in time, and the future at that. Of course it has to be a future event, what good would speculation be on a past event? Ha, we are amused with ourselves.

You see so much attention is being directed to this supposedly one huge event in the future, a time most are hoping will be a transition into a better place. Or for those steeped in fear, the ultimate demise of all of mankind– or at least the part of mankind that is not well liked.

This all stems from the mind’s only two occupations: to acquire something, or to reject something. These are always the only two thoughts your human mind can have. What if you just stopped all the wanting of something better, or running away, or even preparation of something worse? What if you just gave up your small ideas of things being better?

In absolute truth, there is nothing better or worse. There is no hurdling of mankind towards some future date with destiny in which everything will change. Of course things will change, it is the only thing that is inevitable and stable, this change.

Look around right here and now for a moment. You have been wishing, hoping and yearning for things to be better for a long time. Is it better? You’re still not there, this rushing around hoping for better, it’s still some carrot at the end of a stick.

How about the illusion of deflecting the worse that could happen? Has that worked out yet, either? You can strive and devote yourself to preventing things from being worse, but here it comes– or your judgment of worse, it seems, comes around anyway.

Give it up. Give it all up. We encourage you to be more present to what is going on around you right now. Without this hope of things getting better, you can breathe in deeply and enjoy the joy of knowing how things are right now.

Start right now to enjoy what life is presenting to you on your plate. You really can enjoy whatever you’re experiencing without muddling through layers of better or worse, or good or bad, or right or wrong.

There are, of course, many, many layers to this question. You all suffer in this illusion of hope, we would take hope away. Crash. What would you be without it? Well, you would just BE. And that is joy full within itself. You see how narrow you must make your view of life when you think that things would be better or you have some expectation, some hope of something better? You completely miss the wonderful illusion of life that is being presented.

Also, try to explore just what you think will change on that date. Is your hope, expectation, thought of what is better universally held by everyone? No, your thought of what is good, would not be the same held by someone else. So which way will the universe tilt? Won’t it just be fun to enjoy now, and still be in that joy when December 2012 rolls around?

Dear D:

What if just a moment in time, you let go of any ideas of having a divine mission or life path? Just lay that down for a second, you can always pick it back up. Just breathe. Isn’t life a grand and wonderful adventure, lived each moment, sometimes without a great master plan created in the human mind?

You see, the story of you is always taking place within the stillness and peace of the eternal YOU. In no way would we interfere with that story and even for a millisecond try to validate your own interpretation of this storyline. So the truth is, you get to decide what your life path, journey or mission is. Or not. You can just relax into the divine beingness, the intelligence that rules this universe, and allow that to know itself as you and through you. Then you have no limitations. No designs or plans or desires, other than complete freedom.

D, you are living in a three-dimensional world, space, plane and time– and the whole time, the real YOU, the truth of you, is existing in a fourth-dimensional space– that is space, plane, time and infinity. Ah-ha! For a moment there you forgot the infinity part. If you decide you have a divine mission, and then set out to make it happen for you, in whatever manner you choose, you have just left infinity out the equation.

You took the step to slowly and profoundly dismantle the massive ganglion of self that you really now have found had little to do with your own creating, and we so applaud you for that. Being egoless, you now have a task before you, how to live now that you have nothing to prove to anyone, certainly not yourself. There, that is FREEDOM. Breathe. We chuckle as we realize this was perhaps not the response that you desired.

I am studying books on channeling energy to aid myself and others in physical and emotional healing. I lead a very busy and stressful life, and am starting to feel the negative physical effects of this lifestyle. I went to a bookstore and found a book on Reiki. My question is, does the practice of Reiki go against what God would have us do as his servants? My friend told me she would not be interested in this, due to the fact she thought the church would think of it as un-Godlike.

I am a Christian and believe in higher powers, but am very curious about how the body is healed and cleansed by simple meditation. I am to attend a Reiki session the 3rd Sunday of this month, and my gut feeling is that it will be a positive step in my life for the better. Please give me some input about your thoughts on this subject.

First of all, our question to you would be, who is it that is determining what God is like in your own life? Is it you? Have you taken the time to go within and find out for yourself what this entity you call God is really like? Who determines the personality of God? Who has decided for you what God likes and dislikes, is approving or disapproving?

We see that you are letting others decide for you what this presence is in your own life. Not someone else, not the churches, or organizations, or ministers, or ministers’ wives or friends, or anyone else– this life was given to you, for YOU to discover your own personal inner relationship with this awesome infinite being known to you as GOD.

What if, for just a moment, wonder what if everything you have been TOLD to BELIEVE about this God is not true? What if it were all just someone else’s illusions, or ego thoughts of grandeur that have been handed down for generations, and then tweaked, and picked through to make sure that underlying all beliefs, there is some control and power to those who instituted this GOD. Just, what if. You don’t have to make a life long commitment to this questioning, just for a moment wonder, what if. Then go within, and YOU find the answers to what your own spiritual nature tells you.

These spiritual intuitions cannot be taught, and cannot be passed down. Each of you magnificent humans are given a direct line to your own GOD self, your own spiritual insight, and it is up to you to listen and find the best path for you to that God.

Now as for the personal question about this healing modality known as Reiki. At this point in your life, it would be beneficial for you to FEEL the influx of energy. Reiki, for those beginning to understand the spiritual– not religious– but spiritual aspect of life, can help them to feel the different flows of energy, and whatever method you choose at this time will be a step towards this deeper understanding.

There is ONLY ONE POWER AND PRESENCE AT WORK IN THE UNIVERSE, AND THAT IS GOD the omnipotent POWER. So go forward, and give little concern what that organized focus of religion known as the church has to say about what path you choose. Remember, other people’s opinion of you is none of your business. We say that with much love, as it will help you be released from the shackles of opinions that are holding you back.
